The Directors
Matthew and Katharine Kemp
Leaping Hare Renewables was founded in 2020 by Matthew and Katharine Kemp to offer high quality, future proofed installations that harness innovation to provide renewable energy systems for homes and businesses in Norfolk, Suffolk and surrounding counties. We design and install solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers and sustainable heating and hot water systems that work seamlessly together.

The Technical Team
Matthew & Christian
Matthew leads the electrical team and Christian is our plumbing and heating engineer. They have almost 50 years of technical experience between them.
Matthew began his career as an engineer and Geophysicist in 1996. Upon graduating from St Andrews University, he embarked on projects that included installing renewable energy systems in the field globally. He is a highly skilled Electrician and Engineer with an eye for detail. He oversees all installations and ensures the highest standards are met at all times.
Christian has worked for British Gas and is a highly skilled heating engineer. His immaculate installation of sustainable heating solutions is essential to the company’s goal of offering complete transformations to decarbonise existing properties. Most importantly Matthew and Christian make that transition easy for the customer by integrating a range of products that ‘play nicely’ together.
The Roofers
Sam
Sam is in charge on the roof! His meticulous approach to solar installs and care for the condition of the roof means we always leave your roof in a better place than when we found it.
By spending time notching out tiles Sam and his team ensure that the tiles fit perfectly flush around the roof hooks.
The Apprentices
Hope & Ollie
We are passionate about empowering the next generation of renewable energy installers and sustainable heating engineers. Hope and Ollie work with us four days a week and spend one day at College of West Anglia.
They are hard working, polite and increasingly capable and knowledgeable. We are delighted to have them on the team.
The Builders
Daniel & Will
Daniel takes care of all construction work, from matching and replacing brickwork following flue removal to large scale building projects. His work is immaculate and precise.
Along with his team, including Will his Apprentice, they always do an excellent job!
